The student fellows from Universidad de la República in Uruguay launched the “PAVO REAL FANZINE” (Fanatic Magazine), a collaborative initiative designed to help students from around the world discover Open Educational Resources (OER) and learn how to create, adapt, and share their own openly licensed materials.
Through this initiative, the student fellows aim to build a decentralized learning community that fosters creativity, collaboration, and solidarity among learners.
To support this goal, the fellows also developed explanatory and pedagogical materials that introduce the key concepts of OER*and highlight their benefits and practical uses in education.
Together, these activities promote open education and empower learners to actively contribute to the creation and dissemination of knowledge
*Please note that these materials are currently available in Spanish. We hope to make them accessible in other languages in the future.

Within the UNOE Student Fellow Project, we are proud to announce that several Fellows launched this wonderful initiative by organizing a series of webinars aimed at presenting and discussing their research and areas of work. These sessions provided and will provide (2 more sessions to come) an opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and foster dialogue among participants on a wide range of topics addressed within the project.
Their Objective: To foster a global and intercultural dialogue space where students critically analyze the future of education by examining the challenges of the ethical use of artificial intelligence and the integration of open educational resources across different countries, comparing various educational support systems in order to propose collective solutions that transform higher education learning environments.
